Back to the human group after 8 weeks off. It was quiet and intimate with the first discussion being a flow of spiritual sharing directing our attention to the prophets within us and the prophets that go unnoticed; the singing birds, the gentle swaying trees, the breeze, etc.
The second discussion fell full tilt into covid-19 theories of control. A frustrating discussion from my experience but necessary in that it is a current situation in which a dominant narrative exists and everyone who speaks otherwise is threatened.
So how do these two discussions tie together. In the second discussion there was a focus upon the external structures; the health system and government. One human was frustrated after extensive self learning and studying under a health practitioner, gaining his own understanding of health and healing that was in contrast to the conventional methodology. Another was suspicious of the authoritarian reach executed by the government over a dis-ease that impacted the global population at a lesser extreme than what was foretold.
The fear that was drummed up by mainstream media and government pulled the majority of the population into the mainstream narrative leading to extreme compliance. This conformity isolated those courageous enough to think differently. The ones that did not fold to the fear, but maintained their course, trusted the genius of their bodies and spoke about their concerns regarding the mainstream narrative were subject to intense scrutiny.
This is an example of prophets. Those who speak their truth in the face of danger, fear and even persecution.
Historically prophets have been persecuted and even killed for going against the current paradigm. One human mentioned a mathematician being executed for introducing the idea of irrational numbers.
What do prophets threaten?
The monopoly of violence government has is threatened when the population is empowered and inspired to trust themselves. Or if they find out the authorities telling us what to do are wrong and are even endangering us. The chaos of a population thinking for themselves is too difficult to control. Prophets inherently disrupt the power of existing establishments.
Every existing institution, individual, industry is threatened by new truths. Static structures rely on a static reality not an unfolding evolution.
This is a major headwind to nature; our intuition, creativity, imagination, innovation and evolution.
Are we so comfortably domesticated that we willingly walk our prophets to the executioner’s block and stand beside them frozen in our immobilising apathetic beliefs, at the beck and call of the puppet master’s of fear?
In counselling, interpreting, labelling and even telling the client what is wrong with them is a sign that burnout is imminent. When we serve each other by asking questions, creating opportunities and inspiring growth, then the receiver walks forth with the independence and empowerment in tact. They learn to trust life. When we give them the answers, it is a form of violent communication, removing the responsibility of making their own decisions and also creating a dependency. The government has a monopoly on violence and using this medieval tool to control, shift and muster the population is a sign that the system burnt out a long time ago and is damaging for the health of the population; creating dependencies and disempowering the people by removing responsibility.
This is where the first discussion can come into play. It was a discovered that we are who we have been waiting for. We are the prophets. We have the power to shift these outdated systems. What does it take? It takes courage and persistence. With tall poppy syndrome endemic to our society those who stand up first are inevitably shot down. A surface tension so thin with a knowing lying dormant within our unconscious and unexpressed conscious that exists in each and every one of us. Will you sacrifice yourself to break this surface tension for those yet to live to have the freedom and potential we al dream of? Even when you may be forgotten or even remembered as a villain?
Another member brought forth to the group’s attention those beings that live and breath among us that are their true unaltered selves. The environment, the animals, the ocean and trees. We have teachers amongst us, singing to us in the morning, inviting us to loosen the tight grip around our expression, to be unreasonably beautiful and pursue a life of joy and love.
This is not a battle, this is a threshold of fear to discover the phenomena and synchronicity that lies on the other side. It is not fighting the powers that be but simply taking the next step that you know to take but are fearful to make.
The birds, the breeze, the sunlight, the trees, they’ve got your back.
